We’ve know about it for some time but today Verizon officially announces their first mobile tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, will launch on their wireless network in the coming weeks. In fact, Samsung will launch the tablet for all four major U.S. carriers. The tablet has an enhanced TFT display at 7 inches, not the beautiful and brilliant Super AMOLED display that we hoped for, running Android 2.2 (Froyo) so it supports Adobe Flash in the web browser and corporate email among other features, front and rear facing camera and camcorders, Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor, 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 2 GB internal memory with 16 GB pre-installed microSD card expandable to 32 GB.
